How much does it cost to join GI OnDEMAND?

Access to the GI OnDEMAND platform is free for current ACG Members and
their patients!

How do I join GI OnDEMAND?

Enter the GI OnDEMAND website address https://giondemand.com into your preferred web browser such as Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. In the center of the homepage, you will find the “JOIN AS ACG Member” option. Click this option and enter in the email address that is associated with your ACG membership, then click “Join Now”. 

If for some reason the site does not recognize the email entered, then click the “request invitation” option, and complete all of the fields in the “contact us for more information” form. After you complete this form, click “send” and a member of our customer service team will process your request within 24 hours.

I forgot my password, how do I reset my password? 

Enter the GI OnDEMAND website address  https://giondemand.com into your preferred web browser such as Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. In the center of the homepage, you will find this message, “Already have an account? Log in”.  Click the “Log in” option and on the “Welcome Back” login page, simply click “forgot password”.  Enter in the email address that is associated with your account, and an email will be sent to you that will allow you to reset your password. 

I am a patient, how do I join GI OnDEMAND?

We are pleased to hear that you would like to join GI OnDEMAND! Please let your gastroenterologist know that you would like access to the platform and all of the patient resources that are available and ask to be added as a patient under your providers GI OnDEMAND account! If your gastroenterologist needs assistance in completing your request, please have a member of their staff email support@giondemand.com and a member of our team will assist! 

Can you please recommend a GI that specializes in _______? 

GI OnDEMAND is pleased to provide registered users with the ability to search for digestive health experts that meet their needs to conduct a virtual care appointment. We do not make recommendations nor suggestions as to which digestive health expert an individual should contact. 

Is there any training available for myself and my staff? 

Yes! Although the GI OnDEMAND platform is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, we certainly want you and your staff to feel confident and be set for success. On the left side of your provider account, you will see under the “Take Action” Tab, a “View Tutorial” resource. This will lead you to a 4-minute tutorial on how the platform functions and all of the resources available to you. If you would like additional training, or more specific questions about the functionality of the platform answered, simply email us at support@giondemand.com and a member of our team will assist you. 

How do I learn more about the GI OnDEMAND Genetic Testing Program?

Log into your GI OnDEMAND account. On the left side tool bar you will see “learn about genetic testing”, fill out that form and click “send request” and a member of our team will reach out to you. If you aren’t utilizing the GI OnDEMAND website yet, but are currently an active ACG member, you can also email genetics@giondemand.com for more information. 

How do I add my profile picture to my GI OnDEMAND Account? 

Log into your GI OnDEMAND account. In the upper right-hand corner, you will see your name, and a blank photo icon in a grey circle. Click the circle and then click “personal info”. On this page, hover your mouse over the blank icon circle and an “add picture” as well as a “trash” icon will appear. This is where you can add a photo from your computer picture files and delete and change your provider profile picture. Once you click the icon on the left side, you will be able to choose a photo from your library.

How can I apply for telehealth insurance reimbursement on GI OnDEMAND? 

After each Virtual Care (telehealth) Visit on the GI OnDEMAND platform is completed, an emailed copy of the visit’s post encounter report will be generated and sent to the provider. This report contains all the required information to document and submit for reimbursement. This report can be downloaded, and then uploaded into your EMR/EHR and added to your current billing administrator’s workflow.

How do I refer a patient to an RD on the platform?

Here is the workflow to complete the referral!

  1. Log into your GI OnDEMAND Provider Account.
  2. On the Left-Hand Side under the "Take Action" tool bar- click "Refer a Patient".
  3. Then Click to choose the Registered Dietitian or RD-Led educational program option.
  4. Next to Registered Dietitians click "show all"
  5. You will now have visibility to click on any of the listed RDs and learn about their areas of expertise, conditions treated, and within their profiles you will see the geographic areas where they are licensed to treat virtually.

When you select the RD you would like to refer your patient to, click "Refer a Patient" within their profile.

Once you "refer the patient" by clicking to refer within the selected RD's profile- the RD will receive an email with both the PROVIDER and the Referred Patient's contact information.

The RD will reach out to the patient directly and set up a time to have a virtual care visit (telehealth) appointment on the platform and the patient will be treated virtually. In your notes to the RD when you refer the patient- you can request to join that initial call if you would like to be included.

Note: If the platform prompts you to finish your personal profile information, this will need to be completed 1st so that the RDs also have the ability to view your completed Gastroenterologist profile.

 

 

How do I invite my patients to join GI OnDEMAND?

Patients can be added to your GI OnDEMAND account for you in bulk at no extra cost. Simply email support@giondemand.com so that a member of our team can assist you with this request. If you would like to manually invite patients one-by-one, log into your account, and in the center of the screen, to the right of your name you will see a “my patients” tab. Click that “my patients tab” and then “invite patient”. Here you will add the patient’s basic contact information and then click “invite patient”. This will allow the patient to receive an email invitation to the platform as well as add them to your patient list within the platform. Once this patient is added, you can schedule virtual care visits, refer them to our GI OnDEMAND Registered Dietitians, and allow them to access a robust offering of patient resources.
